design team competion

I finnally took the courage to enter a local craft store design team competion I entered a unusal design and to my surprise I won of the spots on the design team so here a few photos of my work

chest of draws

I have been busy making christmas presents this one is for my mother in law it is a chest of draws the height is 7 1/2 inches X 5 inches wide all three draws open the size of the draws were made to fit a packet of panadol (headache pill) hope you like mum

Sorry for not doing any posts lately, but I have been very busy renovating , which nobody wants to know about that, but I have just done a tag about halloween I know Australian's don't celebrate it but I have just the stamp set so I had to try it. the stamp set is from Stephanie Bernard which is"Stamps of Life" it is a monthly set to me the second picture was just playing around with odd stamps but by the time I was finished I thought it looked quite good now I have to figure out what to do with them....

I recently had my bathroom renovated so I decided redecorate the first job was those three pictures the blue cherry blossoms and then I decided with the help of a friend I needed a tissue box cover that matched the room and the pictures so here is my version hope you like it

shows you "Pergamano" or white work I have done it is very time consuming the fan with the blue background took me nearly 6 months of hard work the fan with the red background took me about 5 months the letters are Japanese writing I had to learn to do it the right way first then, with Pergamano you work from the backside of the parchment so it show on the front side white I nearly gave up several times but I am stubborn a good trait for me I gave both away as gifts to my friends.

This is my latest creation I made the pictures on stretched canvas painted with gesso and paint together to give a streaked look similar to wind blowing in the sky Then I cut out 12 "pragoda" cartridge picture of the cherry blossom glued them together but, I felt it was not enough for the picture so I wrapped the stem with white satin ribbon.I siliconed these to the canvas using "prima flowers" I pulled the stamin out of the center and put bling into the center just give it shine at night time Please let me know if you like these
